Corporate Sponsorship
The 2012 Annual South End Garden Tour, our 19th, is set for Saturday, June 16th. The tour is a major neighborhood event and is becoming recognized as being the best in Boston. The Garden Tour is the major fundraiser for the Land Trust - a community-based orgnization established to protect community gardens and pocket parks in the South End and Lower Roxbury neighborhoods.
The success of ther Garden Tour - our largest fundraiser - ensures the work of the Land Trust continues to benefit the local community. We at the Land Trust are entrusted with providing clean, healthful, safe, and beautiful gardens throughout these historic neighborhoods. Our efforts provide these city neighborhoods with the balance of open spaces and greenery. Your sponsorship of this fundraiser for the Land Trust will allow your organization to show its appreciation and community goodwill.
The benefits of sponsorship include the following:
- Excellent opportunity to show support for the local community, the Land Trust and its community gardens.
- Great exposure through Garden Tour articles/advertisements which have in the past appeared in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Back Bay Courrant, South End News, boston.com, and other garden magazines
- Publicity through company name and logo displayed on 200 posters, 1000+ Tour booklets, Tour tickets, in all advertisements, and on the tour website.
- Separate 11x17 banner at the Tour tent/ticketing area in front of the South End branch of the Boston Public Library
- Full-page ad ($500 value) in the Tour booklet
- 8 Tour and reception tickets ($160 value)
Please consider how a corporate sponsorship of the South End Garden Tour can benefit your organization and expose your business to new and existing clients.
Sincerely,
Maryellen Hassell
